Christian Life Issues Volume 1

Volume 1 of Christian Life Issues is almost here!

Christian Life Issues by Dr. Wayne A. Mack presents a thorough understanding of the classic allegory The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. You will learn what the Bible says about how a person becomes a Christian and the true nature of the Christian life. Specifically, this book will address many topics fundamental to Christian living.

The first of  two volumes, Volume 1: The Beginning of the Journey focuses on subjects related to the beginning of the Christian Life. It contains an exposition and biblical application of chapters 1 through 5 of The Pilgrim’s Progress using Cheryl V. Ford’s excellent modern translation as our guidebook.

For more information and for purchase once the book is released next month, visit Nouthetic Media.

Courage: Fighting Fear With FearWayne and Joshua’s Courage: Fighting Fear With Fear (formerly The Fear Factor) has arrived and is shipping now. The book, which went out of print in 2012 when its publisher folded, has a new publisher (P&R Publishing), a new, smaller format, a new title/cover and a LOWER price. We at Nouthetic Media believe it’s one of the Macks’ most underrated books and that it will be appreciated as a great book for small groups and Sunday School classes, as a discipleship counseling resource or personal reading.

God's Solutions to Life's Problems

First it was the republishing of Wayne Mack’s Preparing for Marriage God’s Way, and now P&R Publishing is reprinting an expanded edition of Wayne and Joshua Mack’s God’s Solutions to Life’s Problems, due for release Jan. 29. The authors have added a 15th chapter to this excellent discipleship book. It is available for advance purchase at Nouthetic Media and will ship after it arrives at the end of  next week.

In about four weeks, Wayne and Joshua’s The Fear Factor will go back into print under the new title Courage: Fighting Fear With Fear. Stay in touch for further details.

Recently we  added 40 Wayne Mack mp3 audio resources (plus some by Carol) for purchase and download at Nouthetic Media. These are workshops and seminar messages converted from compact discs and even some cassettes, including Dealing With the Resistant Counselee, which was not previously available for sale in any format. A tip if you plan to purchase to listen on a mobile device: Download the mp3 files first to a computer and then import them to your mobile device. This should avoid potential difficulties and also leaves you with a back-up copy. Click to browse Wayne’s mp3 resources.

Just a note to praise the Lord and let others know that I recently signed a contract with P & R for three books that will be published in the near future. One is Preparing for Marriage God’s Way, the second is God’s Solutions to Life’s Problems, and the third is The Fear Factor that was a joint effort between me and our son, Joshua. Preparing for Marriage will be the first of the three to be published. P & R is in the process of getting it ready for publishing. PFMGW will be a revised version of a book that has been used by many counselors and couples for 15 years. It and the other books will be available from P&R Publishing and noutheticmedia.com.

UPDATE: Preparing for Marriage God’s Way is due for release in early October. Nouthetic Media (our USA distributor) is taking pre-orders online now.
